Donald Woolfrey (July 14, 1941 – Nov. 5, 2014) - It is with broken hearts that the family of Donald Woolfrey announce his passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Left to mourn are his wife Betty (Eveleigh); brother Ivan (Louise); sisters Yvonne Stockley, Maxine (Milton) Hiscock, Rosalyn (David) Young; brother-in-law Glenn (Cassie) Eveleigh; nephews Greg and Mike Woolfrey, Derek and Dennis Stockley, Todd, Wade and Derek Hiscock; nieces Michelle Connolly, Tina Hodder, Cindy Young Carberry, Dianne Eveleigh along with their spouses and children, cousins, ‘special nephew’ Mitchell Collins, also Wilbert, Suzanne and Carlton and a circle of dear wonderful friends. Visitation took place at Families First Funeral Home, Lewisporte on Friday, Nov. 7. Funeral service was held at St. Matthew’s United Church on Saturday, Nov. 8. Interment followed at St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
