Freda Mary Wells of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late John Wells, passed away on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Freda leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Susan (Milt) Duquette of Medicine Hat and their children, Jennifer (Neil) Jesse, John, and Kristine, Jamie (Michelle) Vonk, Willie Vonk, Michael (Kristy) Duquette, and Michelle (Dan) Neufeld; Glenda Wells of Saskatoon and her children, Wendy, Paul (Hilary), and David; Lynn (Gerald) Lanoie of St. Victor, Saskatchewan, and their children, Adrien, Joe (Tammy), and Paulette Lanoie (Dale Reiss); and Ron (Elaine) Wells of Crane Valley, Saskatchewan, and their children, Teresa (Curtis) Farr, Chrystal (Kyle) Schlamp, and Ryan (Amanda); 24 cherished great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews. Freda was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John, in January 1997; her parents, Adolph and Rosa Wolski; and two sisters. Freda and John farmed in the Galilee area of Saskatchewan moving to Medicine Hat in April of 1991. They enjoyed 20 winters in Arizona and made many friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 15 Paul Drive, on Friday, November 14th, 2014 from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 15 Paul Drive, on Friday, November 14th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. John R. Kreutzwieser officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Freda's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
