Florence Rita (McKenna) McMahon

Rita passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Saint Luke’s Place at age 91.
Beloved wife of the late Leo; dear mother of Linda McMahon, Karen (Robert) Stanley and the late Patricia Altomare. Dear grandmother of Kristina (Jorge) Nogueira, Jeremy Stanley and Ryan Stanley. Cherished great-grandmother of Rachael, Alexandre, and Makayla.
Born in Sydney, made her home in Ontario, she was the daughter of Mary and Arthur McKenna.
She is survived by sisters, Catherine 'Kay' Filek, Sydney; Eileen (Bill) MacNeil, Mira; Carol (Paul) Bourgeois, Howie Centre; brother, Arthur, B.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Irene (Tom) Power; Margaret (John R.) Smith; Mary (Jim) MacDougall; Rose (Al) Gillis; Alice (Harold) Crawley; Jean (Fred) Roberts; Isabelle (Robert) Murray; Theresa (Richard) Holder; William McKenna; Thelma (Arthur) McKenna; Joe (Kay) Filek; Pauline and Jim MacRury.
A visitation will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Friday 2–4 and 7–9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South St., Cambridge, Ont.
