Kathryn Robertson
STELLARTON – Kathryn Jean Robertson, 59, of Stellarton passed away peacefully November 11, 2014, with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Hazel Crummey.
After the passing of her parents, the late James and Reta (Murphy) Skinner, Kathryn’s biggest aspirations were always becoming a mother and travelling to Hawaii. She was lucky to have been able to accomplish both. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her children, grandchildren and pets. She spent hours talking and giggling with her close friends.
She will be missed.
Kathryn is survived by her children, Laura (John) Ashton, Medicine Hat, AB; Greg Robertson (Elaine MacDonald ), Lakevale, NS; Jeff Robertson (Emma MacKinnon), Fort St. John, BC; four grandchildren: Elijah, Noah, Oliver and Violet, her three brothers, Jim Skinner (Marina Reynolds), Truro; Carl (Joan) Skinner, Milford; Ken (Ann) Skinner, Sylvan Lake, Alberta; her special friends, Carol Holowachuk, Donna Gennoe and Helen LaSalle.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Reta Skinner, Wellington and Hazel Crummey, and a brother, Douglas.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, 18 Acadia Ave., Stellarton, from where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Anne Hoganson presiding. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
