Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, of Wilbert C. McInnis of Charlottetown, age 85 years.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Mary (nee Carroll) and dear father to Carol (Glen) Kovath, David McInnis (Sally Duffy), Jane (Shawn) Gallant, Mary Helen (deceased in infancy), and Danny (Susan) McInnis. Loving Poppy of Laura, Mary Beth, Sue Ellen and Kerrilyn. Brother of Helen Pavlinak of Ontario.
Wilbert was also predeceased by his parents, A.R. and Helen McInnis, and brothers, Arthur and Paul.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday afternoon, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
