The Rev. Mary Aileen Harris (McKellar) died peacefully at the Health Science Centre surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Predeceased by parents Angus and Aileen McKellar, sister Marg Gray (David), brothers Robert and Donald McKellar. Survived by her loving husband Fred, son Bruce, daughter Erika, cousin Barbara McDonald and of course her faithful companion Brock. She is lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues. Mary was ordained in the United Church in 2002 and faithfully served congregations in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, touching many lives. Gone too soon, but will always be remembered for her love, humour, and faith. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 18th, from 2-4 & 7-9 from Carnell's Funeral Home on 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 19th, at 2:00 from Memorial United Church in Portugal Cove. Inurnment is to take place at a later date in Cambridge Ontario.
