The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, of Arlene Dorcas Stordy of Summerside, and formerly of Victoria, P.E.I., aged 68 years. Arlene was born on March 28, 1940, in Victoria, P.E.I., to her late parents, Keith and Jean (nee Howatt) Stordy. Remembered by her sister, Dianne (Ray) Burpee of Halifax, N.S., her niece, Veronica (Robert) Dillon and her nephew, Colin Burpee. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A committal service will be held at Crapaud People’s Cemetery, Crapaud, at a later date.
