Passed peacefully away in palliative care after a courageous battle with cancer in her 85th year. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts her children Albert, Walter (Betty), Judy (John), Darlene (Neil), and Effie May (Alvin). Her loving grandchildren Phillip, Kayla, Kyle, Cheryl, Curtis, Carl, Heidi, Caroline, Allyson and Alvin Walter. Precious great grandchildren Khayden, Allyssa, Connor, Cameron, her sister Agnes Collins sister in law Evelyn McCarthy, brothers in law Clarence Churchill (Betty) and Norman Churchill and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Walter, daughter in law Christine, Parents Elizabeth and Jacob Hibbs, and brothers and sisters. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will start on Sunday, November 23rd at 3:00-9:00 and Monday, November 24th from 10:00-9:00. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, November 25th at 2:00pm from Memorial United Church in Portugal Cove with interment to follow at Memorial United Cemetery Bauline Line.
