MITCHELL, MERLIN "MITCH" - Merlin "Mitch" Mitchell, age 59 of Moncton passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 21, 2014 with his wife by his side. Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the late Merlin Mitchell Sr. Mitch will be remembered by his wife, Dawn Comeau of Moncton; daughter, Angela Priede of Fredericton and son, Jeffrey of Moncton, step children, Lisa (Dino) DiBonaventura of Moncton, Crystal Comeau of Salisbury; and Craig (Riley) Clorey of High River, Alberta; eight grandchildren, Jordan, Callie, Alexa, Matteo, Sullivan, Isla, Norah and Thomas; as well as a very special aunt, Alfreda Mitchell of Moncton. In addition to his father, Mitch was predeceased by his son-in-law, MCpl. Darrell Priede in 2007.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd, Riverview, NB (587-8564). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm at the funeral home. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mitch may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
