The funeral for the late Fraser Oakley took place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, North River on December 4, 2013. Interment was in Sudbury Ontario on June 14, 2013, with Fraser’s Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
At this time, We the family of the late Fraser Oakley, would like to thank our families, friends, neighbours and co-workers who traveled , made visits , sent food, sent floral arrangements , memorial donations , online condolences, sympathy cards, phone calls and prayers, for their kindness during our loss. Sincere appreciation to the members of St Andrews church, Reverend Marion MacKay for her beautiful service, the Choir and soloist Jennifer MacDonald for her heartfelt rendition of “Sweet hour of prayer”. Fraser would have been very proud. To all who attended the funeral, to the pallbearers, Rick O’Brien, Gary Sheminsky, Angus MacLeod, Hal Oakley, Sandy MacRae, Bill MacDonald, The Piper - Courtney Mac Pherson and the Ladies Auxiliary for the prepared lunch, thank you so much. Special thanks to Sheldon Chant and Staff for all your professionalism and your guidance. Special thanks also to Dr. Chow and Dr. Gange, Nurses, Home Support Workers of Victoria County; your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
