The family of Malcolm MacKenzie-Hiscock wish to extend a sincere thank-you to all who shared our sorrow in his loss. We deeply appreciate the countless expressions of sympathy and support from communities near and far as you gathered to embrace us in our grief. Your presence sustained us and continues to console us.
We cherish each thoughtful, generous gesture of respect – the memorial donations, flowers, gifts of food, cards, phone calls, on-line condolences and the heartwarming letters in which you shared treasured memories of Malcolm. Thank you to our colleagues and friends at Cape Breton University and ICEAP, to our kind neighbours, to the staff and students of Sydney Academy and the staff of Curry’s Funeral Home. We are grateful to all who participated in the funeral liturgy for Malcolm – to Father Oliver, the pallbearers, readers, gift bearers and choir. The kindness of so many was overwhelming and we will remember with deep gratitude.
