STEEVES, ROBERT (BOB) BOYD - 1939-2014 - Robert (Bob) Boyd Steeves, 75, of Hillsborough and formerly of Albert Mines passed away suddenly at his residence on November 27th, 2014. Bob was born in Albert Mines, New Brunswick on October 24th, 1939, the son of the late Addison and Jennie Steeves. Bob attended the Hillsborough Baptist Church and is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working in the outdoors. Bob was known for his sense of humor and kind heart. Whenever somebody needed a hand they could always count on him to be there. Most of all, Bob was a family man. He loved his family very much and treasured time spent with his precious grandchildren and great-grandchild, Autumn. He cherished all the memories that they shared. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Teresa; daughter, Carla Leach of Hillsborough; son Gary Steeves (Jessica) of Cambridge, Ontario; his four cherished grandchildren, Robert, Shannon, Colleen, and Hope; great-grandchild, Autumn; his four sisters, Lillian Steeves, Gertrude Rideout, Shirley Sloan (Robert), and Mary Boone; his mother in law Ruby Morrisey. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two infant brothers, Hubert and Carrie; three brothers, Ralph, Ronald, and Raymond; his father in law, Joseph Morrisey.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Funeral service will be held at Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00pm with Hugh Morrisey officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and refreshments in the funeral home reception area. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Autumn's trust fund, or the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
