Thirty years ago today,
God gave us a little boy,
We loved you with all our hearts,
You were our pride and joy.

Our dearest little Joey,
A child who never grew old,
You should have had so may years,
To watch your life unfold.

A little life that had hardly begun,
We often wonder what
you would have done.

Then God saw you suffering,
Growing very tired and weak,
And wrapped you in His loving arms,
And said "You, my child I keep".

So now you are an angel,
Free from hurt and pain,
We'll love you forever,
Until we meet again.
