Peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at the age of 50.
Much loved wife and best friend of Michael of 21 years.
Loving mother of Joseph Cameron and Jacob Daniel. Daughter of Georgina Shaw and the late Teddy MacIver. Sister of Cheryl (Rob) Smith, Glenn (Kim) MacIver and Grant (Patty) MacIver. Janice will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Her family was her greatest joy in life in addition to the many children’s lives she touched over the years. Janice was an active member of Creekside Church and carried her faith where ever she went.
Family and friends will be received at Robert Ruggle Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 for visitation from 2–4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service celebrating Janice’s life will be held at Creekside Church, 660 Conservation Dr., Waterloo on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ken Taylor officiating. Reception at church will immediately follow. Private family interment in Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Creekside Church – Uganda Education would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519 888-7700. These donations will be used to build a classroom block at the school in Uganda which Janice was a part of bringing to life and will be dedicated to her memory.
