WILLISTON, FAYE JOYCE – Faye J. Williston of Golden Grove Road, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the wife of Hugh A. Williston. Born in Saint John on August 29, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Stella (McGrath) Worden. In addition to her husband of 55 years, Hugh, she will be missed by her children, Alyson Reid (James Teichman), Wendy Williston Hickey (Bill) and Leah Ross (Kyle); grandchildren, Carly Blain (Ross) and Jaclynn Reid, Liam and Shea Hickey, Nathan, Gavin and Sophie Ross; and step-grandchildren Samantha and Sarah Teichman; many beloved nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Hub Williston (Judy), Gary Williston (Dawn); sisters-in-law, Lenore MacDonald (Clayton), Mona Thomas (Bill), Gail Ramsay (Ivan) and Wilma Williston. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, Lois Anderson and brothers-in-law, Boyd Anderson and Carl Crozier.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church 646 Westmorland Road, Saint John with a reception to follow at the church hall. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
