It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather and brother, Timothy White, age 72 years, at the Placentia Health Centre on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Predeceased by parents Martin and Sadie White; brothers Mike, Paul and Baby William White; sister Loretta; parents-in-law Patrick and Jane Anne Murphy; brothers-in-law Pad and Tom Murphy, and Michael King; sisters-in-law Sylvia and Connie Murphy. Left to grieve his loss are his loving and dedicated wife Shirley (Murphy); sons Tim and Jon-Paul (Ocean Whiffen); daughter Cheryl (Mike Fontaine); beloved granddaughters Jessica and Laylie; brother Brendan (Mary); sisters Peg (Glen Gillingham), Rosemary (John Farrell) and Marie (Mark Pinsent); sisters-in-law Bernice White, Mary King, Elizabeth (Michael Griffiths), Blanche Murphy and Marie Murphy; brothers-in-law Gordon (Irene) and Eddie O'Dea; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Placentia Health Centre, who were so kind and caring. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation Wednesday, December 3rd from 2:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa's Church, Ship Harbour at 11am on Thursday, December 4th.Burial to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
