The family of Charles Ernest Campbell is mourning the loss, but celebrating the life of a kind, gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend.
Charlie passed away peacefully December 2, 2014, in Charlottetown. He will be greatly missed by Pauline, his devoted and loving wife of 58 years, his daughters Linda, Karen (Neil MacNair), Ellen (Allan Morse), sons Mark (Caroline) and Scott (Missy). Charlie was a significant part of the lives of his eight grandchildren, Andrew, Connor, Melissa, Chris, Lynn, Brennan, Jack and Charlie and they will forever feel his love. He is survived by special sisters Helen Murnaghan and Anne (Gene) Kenny. He was predeceased by brothers William, Arthur, Jack, and Lewis as well as sisters Emma Connolly, Grace, Laurena, and Mildred Kirwin.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
