Allison, Burnell Joseph - 75, of Southwest Port Mouton, passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Southwest Port Mouton, he was a son of the late Wilburt Ansel and Rita Doreen (Roy) Allison. Burnell was a fisherman all his life. He enjoyed camping, hunting, playing cards, a good game of horse shoes and the occasional drink. He was well known for his sharp sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy (Roy); sons, Burnell Jr. (Bonetta), of Port Mouton, Keith (Shelley), of South Ohio, Scott (Wanda), of Hunts Point, Jody (Susan), of Southwest Port Mouton; grandchildren Robert, Chassity, Joseph, Kayla, Jessica, Mark, Julian, Bailey, Alyssa, Remington and Danyon; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Allison, Kaylin, Tayler, Keewatin, Christina, Gillian and Bella; sisters, Trudy Daury, Hazel Fisher, both of Port Mouton; brother Gary (Donna), of Port Joli. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Eva; sisters, Gloria, Doris, Yvonne and Jeanie. Visitation was on Friday, December 5th, 2014, and a Funeral Service was on Saturday, December 6th, at 11:00 a.m., both from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool with Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial was in Southwest Port Mouton Community Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Foundation (Kidney Dialysis Unit).
