The death occurred, at her late residence, on Saturday, January 10, 2009, of Della MacKinnon, of Summer Street, Summerside, aged 74 years. Born in Foxley River, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Isabel (Key) Barlow. Survived by her children Donna MacKinnon (Michael Poczynek), Judy (Hughie) Farrow, Wayne (Kelly Bowes), Cathy (John) White; grandchildren Bethany (Trevor) Harding, Sarah and Jennifer Harkness; Katie, Emily and Jillian White; Olivia and Matthew MacKinnon; brothers Russell (Muriel), Eric (Verna), Sterling, Charlie (Gail), Shelton (Mary), John (Audrey), Leith (Bonnie), Ronnie (Bea); sisters Reby (Norman) MacKinnon, Barbara (Paul) Arsenault, Doris (Blaine) MacDonald, Mary Lou (Eugene) Stairs, Brenda (Roy) MacCaull, Gretha Ford, Margaret MacAusland; brothers-in-law Ewen (Florence) MacKinnon, Leland (Velma) MacKinnon; and by a sister-in-law Joyce MacKinnon. Predeceased by her husband Burleigh MacKinnon; brothers-in-law James MacKinnon and Elton MacAusland; and by a sister-in-law Audrey Cameron. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will later take place in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Oncology Unit of the Prince County Hospital or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
