With family by her side, the death of Stella Catherine Driscoll, R.N.,B.N, aged 80, occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on December 3, 2014.
Stella was the daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Murphy) Driscoll of Kensington. She was also predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Driscoll; brother, Emmett Driscoll; sister-in-law, Shirley Driscoll; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stella is survived by her sister, Maureen (Brad) Goodick of Cornwall and the following nieces and nephews: Shauna (Merrill) Lewis, Okotoks, AB; Douglas (Eileen) Driscoll, Edmonton, AB; Kelly Goodick, Saint John, N.B.; Craig (Vanessa Clarick) Goodick, Caledonia, P.E.I.; Jeri (Colin) Wilson, Spruce Grove, AB; and James Driscoll, Spruce Grove, AB. Surviving grandnieces and nephews include: Tannis Jakovljevic, Edmonton, AB; Ashley Chernish, Black Diamond, AB; Ethan Driscoll, Edmonton, AB; Nicholas Goodick Sencabaugh, Saint John, N.B.; Kelsey Goodick, Saint John, N.B.; Luka, Paris and Sawyer Wilson, Spruce Grove, AB, and Charlie Grace Goodick, Caledonia, P.E.I. Great-grandniece and nephews are Elliet and Axel Chernish and llia Jakovljevic of Alberta.
As was Stella's wish, there will be no visiting hours. Cremation has taken place. Funeral and burial will take place in the spring/summer.
