D’Arcy, Michael Joseph- 81, Truro passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Donneybrook, Ireland on February 16, 1933, he immigrated to Canada in 1957. Mike was a huge sports fan all of his life. He was a pipe fitter and worked in the Oil and Gas industry. He leaves behind a loving family, his wife, Teresa; sons, Brendan; Brian; Derek and daughter, Michele six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Teresa (Gavin) D’Arcy; brother, Peter; sisters, Margaret, Lou, Rosaline, Bernie and Claire. According to Michael’s wishes a private service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
