PARRSBORO - Marilyn J. Berry of Parrsboro went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 1, 2014 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
Born in Two Islands, she was the youngest daughter of the late Bill and Rebecca (Irving) Berry.
Upon finishing school in Parrsboro, Marilyn left for Ontario and worked at Westclox in Peterborough. She later trained as a P.C.W. and upon completion worked at Pinehaven Estates, Halifax. She also worked in the hotel industry in Alberta for a number of years.
Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid photographer.
She is survived by sisters, Roberta Feltrin, Dartmouth; Alice Smith (Robert), Dartmouth; brothers, Gregory, Dartmouth; Albert (Marilyn), Halifax; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Allan.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service took place on Saturday [December 6, 2014] at Highway Pentecostal Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Dewis Rector and Rev. Henry Devito officiating. Burial in St. George’s Cemetery, Parrsboro.
