May 10th, 1941-December 9th, 2015. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan (Mariam) Lush, at the Health Sciences Center, on December 9th after a courageous battle with a cardiac condition. She will be joining the heavens with her beloved husband, Sterling, the one and only love of her life. Leaving to mourn are her two children Sherry and Sean, grand-daughters Sarah and Jessica, and an endless circle of loving family and close friends. We will celebrate her life at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd., with visitation starting Thursday and Friday, December 11th and 12th, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Funeral service will be held at St. Augustine's Church on Westerland Road, Saturday, December 13th at 3 pm. Cremation to follow. Joan loved flowers and animals!
