Born in Montreal, he was the son of the late Winnifred (Freda) Profit of Charlottetown. Reg served eight years with the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy). He was a school bus driver with the former Halifax County School Board for 21 years. When time permitted, Reg and Kay would enjoy camping at River Land Campground in Elmsdale, and visiting relatives and friends in P.E.I. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kayâ€; sons, John (Julie), Seabright; William “Woody†(Kathy), Simms Settlement; Greg (Lynn), Salem Arms, B.C.; daughter, Marie (Glen-Skip) Passfield, Boutilier's Point. Grandchildren, Jessica, Christian, Ryan, John David, Brooke and Miranda. Survived by brother, Captain John K. Profit, CD, Charlottetown; and sister-in-law, Dianne. Predeceased by brother, William (Billy), Oshawa, Ont. Funeral service was held in Peggy’s Cove, N.S.
