NEW GLASGOW - S. Mildred “Mill” MacDonald, Dec. 1, 1909 – Dec. 13, 2014. Mildred MacDonald, age 105, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Glen Haven Manor with family by her side. She was the last surviving member of her family and was predeceased by her husband, Bernie MacDonald and infant daughter, Mary Mildred.
She is survived by children: Berndette (Doug) MacPherson; William “Bill” MacDonald and partner Leslie Milner; John A. MacDonald; Karen MacDonald (Gerry); Elizabeth “Bish” (Al) McGrath; Rachel (Alex) Mahar; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held 7-9 pm on Sunday, with a family service Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11 am from the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. No flowers by request.
