LEMIRE, PATRICIA JOYCE - 1950 - 2014 - Patricia J. Lemire of Moncton, passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Born in St. Jacques, NB she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Fraser) Belanger. Patricia worked with Sobeys Grocery Stores for over 15 years. She will be remembered for her dedication to volunteer work with the Canadian Red Cross Association; the St. John Ambulance and for her companionship with the palliative care patients at The Moncton Hospital as she volunteered to sit with them and help in any way possible. She is survived by daughter Nadine Lemire (Glenn Beaulieu) of Riverview and Nathalie Lemire with whom she resided; son Pierre Lemire (Melanie Mills) of Edmonton, AB; sisters Jacqueline Belanger of Moncton, Joan Belanger of Bangor, ME, Pauline Maskwa (Brian) of Toronto, ON, Noreen Jones (Allan) of NY; step sister Louise Berube in Ottawa, ON; sister in law and best friend Eva Gaudet of Moncton; grand fur babies who meant the world to her, Lady, Molly, Daisy, Duke and Bozin. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her step mother Muriel (Berube); and her brother Junior Belanger.
At her request there will be no public services held. Donations in Patricia's memory made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
