Passed away peacefully at Bonavista hospital on Sunday Dec 14, age 91. Predeceased by husband Donald in 1990 and parents Hubert and Bessie Whiffen. Leaving to mourn daughter Donna (Roy) Norman Carleton Place,ON and son Lloyd Port union. Grandchildren Paul (Chantal) and Brian (Kim) Norman, Ottawa, ON. Michael Tremblett, Kelowna BC; Great-grand children, Jonah Tremblett and Cole and Lauren Norman; Sisters, Kathleen Riggs, Wisconsin USA and Alma Tippett, Bonavista; Sister in law Phoebe Hicks and a large circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Strathie's funeral home, Bonavista. Funeral service from the funeral home Dec 17th at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial United Church, Bonavista or the Canadian Cancer Society.
