
Dora Fetch

Dora Fetch age 84 years of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre.
She was born at Assiniboia, Saskatchewan on March 26, 1930. She grew up at Herbert, Saskatchewan where she received her education. Dora moved to British Columbia to work in a factory before moving to Simmie where she worked on a ranch. She married Bill Kemick in 1948 and they made their home at Simmie. Following Bill’s passing she continued to live at Simmie. Dora later married Gordon Fetch and following his passing she moved to Shaunavon where she has lived for the past 15 years. Dora became a resident of the Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre in January 2014. She liked playing guitar and was a member of the United Church.
She was predeceased by her first husband Bill Kemick, her second husband Gordon Fetch, two sons Kenny and Gary, one daughter Virginia, brother Lester, and sisters Veturah and Helen.
Dora is survived by two sons, Dennis Kemick of Tompkins and Darrel Kemick of Swift Current, daughter-in-law Stephanie Kemick of Taber, Alberta, grandchildren Valli Ware (Doug), Michael Kemick and Cody Kemick, great grandchildren Kage, Taliah, Breanan, Jerrica and Kail as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held from Centre Street United Church in Shaunavon on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Shelby Kinrade officiating. Interment took place at Webb View Cemetery at Webb, Saskatchewan. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon (www.Binkleys.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Cody Kemick, Kage Kemick, Morgan McNaught and Steve Lloyd.
