Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, December 18, 2014, Percy Chaulk, age 84 years. Pre-deceased by his parents Percy Pye Sr. and Agnes; siblings Louis, Frank, Douglas, Shirley and Florence. Leaving to mourn with most fond, beautiful and loving memories, his most devoted wife Gwendolyn (nee Locke), Geoffrey (St. John's), Derrick (Chicago) and his wife Kathryn and beautiful grand-daughters, Sophie and Grace. Devoted Siblings; Phyllis Lawlor, Robert (Bob) Chaulk, Millie North, and Roma (Autumn) Menchinton, and a large circle of nieces and nephews. In-laws; Catherine Groves and William Locke Jr. Special thanks to the many staff of the St. John's Long Term Care Home where Dad spent the last seven years. The care and compassion provided by these staff was greatly appreciated and will be remembered. As Dad would say: "Death is a part of life, and life is for the living." We greatly loved, admired, and will dearly miss him. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday from 2p.m. - 4p.m. and 7p.m. - 9p.m. Funeral Service to be held from Barrett's Chapel, Tuesday December 23rd, 2014 at 11AM.
