KING, EMERY - (1938 - 2014) - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Emery King, 76, of Richibouctou-Village, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Sunday, December 21, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Ferdinand King and Late Lucille (Richard) King. Before retiring, Emery was a farmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Richibouctou-Village Golden Age Club. Emery will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Nicole Robichaud (Louis) of Mundleville, Charleen Hebert (Mike) of Richibouctou-Village; one son, Marc King (Francine) of Grand-Digue; five grandchildren, Micheline, Marcia, Nathalie, Chantal, Denis and one great-granddaughter, Olivia. He is also survived by two sisters, Rose-Marie Duguay (Benoit) of Moncton, Leona Bernard (Roger) of Richibucto. He was predeceased by his wife, Simonne (LeBlanc) King and one sister, Roberte Levasseur (Armand).
Visitation will be held at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Saturday from 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 am, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Donations in Emery's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
