The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Sunday, January 11, 2009, of Florrie Stewart, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Bruce L. Stewart of Souris. Loving mother of Joan (Don) Shears, Alan (Sylvia) Stewart and David (Joanne) Stewart. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Paul, Heather, Scott, Jeff, Adam and Jane and eight great-grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Emma, Jaxon, Bradley, Holly, Andrew and Ian. Survived by brother Preston (Jean) MacDonald, sisters Sybil (George) Compton and sister-in-law Kay MacDonald. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Alan Neil and Margaret MacDonald, sisters Mary, Bessie, Margie and brothers Hughie, Marty, John, Bruce and Gordon. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday afternoon, January 14, 2009, from 1-2 p.m. Funeral to be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the funeral home.
