INGALLS, JOYCE LAURA - On Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, NB, Joyce Laura Ingalls passed away at the age of 86. Born in Doaktown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Ruby (Gilks) Simms. Joyce, in her younger years was employed as a hairdresser and a homemaker. During her time living in Fredericton, she was a member of the Lincoln Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Robert Earle Ingalls, two children Earle Ingalls of St. George, NB and Susan Jodoin (David) of Edmonton, AB; two sisters Isabelle Wheeler-Oakes of Florenceville, NB and Dorothy Bradford of Ontario; a brother-in-law Perry Hanson of Ontario; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother Claude; two sisters Myrna Wilcox and Bernice Hanson.
By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held at the Lower Lincoln Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances to the Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated.
