POMEROY, Jean Maureen (nee Sullivan)— Passed peacefully away on Friday, January 9, 2009 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit after a short battle with cancer. Jean Maureen Pomeroy, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her husband John Arthur Pomeroy (June 11, 1995); sisters: Hilda Murphy (William) and Mary Garceau; brothers: Joe, Bill and Kevin. Leaving to mourn her loving son John; beautiful grandchildren; brother: Edward, Vancouver, as well as other relatives and friends. Special thanks to friend Cecilia Whitty, nephew Keith Sullivan, nieces Brenda, Maureen and Theresa and cousin Gerry Short and wife Theresa for their support over the past several weeks. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church.
