Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, December 28, 2014, Sharon Preston of Ochre Pit Cove, age 52 years. Predeceased by her mom, just hours after Sharon's passing; Doreen Noonan; mother-in-law: Margaret Preston. Leaving to mourn, husband: Cyril; two daughters: Jennifer, St. John's and Amy (Sheldon) Doyle, Mount Pearl; father: Thomas Noonan, Bay de Verde; two grandchildren: Lyla and Olivia; one brother: Eddie (Cheryl) Noonan, Brownsdale; one sister: Diane Noonan (Joey), Bay de Verde; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.
