Howard Vincent Walsh, age 55 years, lost a 20 month battle with cancer, passing away peacefully at home with his family on January 6, 2015. Predeceased by his parents William and Anne Walsh and his brother George. Leaving to mourn his wife Dianne, daughter Meghan, son Wayne Durdle (Anne), grandchildren Raven and Maxwell, brothers Paul (Phyllis), Frank (Peggy), Craig, Con (Irene), Tony (Candy), Kevin (Mary), sisters Rosland (Richard McKenzie), Gail (Eamon O'Brien), Aunts Gertrude (Richard Roche) and Sister Rosalie Morrissey, many nieces and nephews and his four - legged friends Tawny and Spooky. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, January 8, 2015 and Friday, January 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation may be made to Dr. H.
