April 10, 1926 - January 6, 2015. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Robert John Breen age 88 years, surrounded by his loving wife of 62 years Catherine (Gearin) and family. Waiting to meet him at heaven's gate is his darling granddaughter Jessica Breen, parents Robert and Anne (Walsh) also, brothers William, Patrick and sister Eileen Vinnicombe. Leaving to mourn his six sons, five daughters and their families: Bob (Doreen Baker), Brenda (John Horlick), Ron (Joan), Cathy (Eric Cull), Gary (Wanda), Randy (Brenda), Debbie (Howard Tymchuk), Rita (Barry Mercer), Rick (Regina), Rod, Margaret (Darren Earle) as well twenty-three grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; sister Mary (Mabel), sister-in-law and friend Margaret Kearsey, brother-in-law Kevin Gearin (Mary). Also a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and support staff of 6 East St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from St. John Bosco Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be to the Autism Society of Newfoundland.
