SMITH, Marion Gladys - age 90, Forest Street, Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born March 15, 1924 in California, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Aileen (Dunlop) St-Clair. Marion was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family at the family camp. She is survived by her children, Donna MacPherson, Yarmouth; Donald (Yvette) Smith, Plymouth; Shirley (Bill) Frittenburg, Lunenburg; Beverly (Emile) LeBlanc, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau; Gary (Barbara) Smith, Norwood; David (Bonnie) Smith, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Sean, Katie, Lisa, Denise, Yvonne, Daniel, Melissa, Marc, Aaron, Raymond, Crystal, Tiffany, Maria and Emily, as well as 18 great grandchildren and a sister, Claire Hall, Lunenburg. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Smith. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, where the funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 11, Rev. A. D. “Bill” Newell officiated. Spring interment will take place in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. It has been requested that there be family flowers only.
