Roella Peddle passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2015 in her 82nd year, with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn with loving memories, her husband Gerald of 59 years; children Byron (Patricia), Glenda, Darren (Joan), Susan, and Margaret-Ann; grandchildren Kirk, Melanie (Roy), and Adrian (Anne); 5 great-grandchildren; sister Ena Elkins (Court), as well as numerous brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lucy and Frank Critch; brother Allan Critch; special uncle Jim and special niece Linda. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 456 Curling Street, officiated by Reverend Rosemarie Payne. In keeping with Roella’s wishes, cremation will follow with interment taking place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund.
