Passed peacefully away on January 9th, 2015 at age 81. Leaving to celebrate his life: his loving wife of 55 years, Mary (née Fogwill); his son Jeff (wife, Margot); and his grandchildren, Adam and Leah. Tom was an unwaveringly strong advocate for social justice and had dedicated his life to the underprivileged and disadvantaged through his service to the NDP, CUPE, and The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour. He is dearly loved and will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. The family wishes to thank the kind staff at the Agnes Pratt Home, and requests that donations are made to the Children's Wish Foundation in place of flowers. Cremation had taken place. His life is to be celebrated at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday January 12th and Tuesday January 13th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
