WOODS, Frances Arabella (Qupea) – 74, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2015 at the Digby General Hospital. Born on December 23, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mary (Amirault) Cowan, Digby, Nova Scotia. Qupea is survived by her sons Paul, Digby; Joseph, Halifax; daughters Darlene, Sydney CB, and Michelle, St. Stephen, NB; brothers John (Marjorie) Cowan, Digby; Larry, Ontario; sisters Ida, Weymouth; and Geraldine, Ontario; also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Alfred. Qupea was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. As per her request cremation has taken place and a family service will be scheduled at a later date.
