Shirley Margaret Hogan
(nee Murphy) Passed peacefully away in the arms of her three darling children and her beloved husband on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Left to mourn her loss and celebrate her life are her sweetheart of 55 years Ray; her children: Bob (Dorothy) Lab City, Terry, Seoul, South Korea, Cathy Hogan (Paul Crummell); her four grandchildren who she loved more than life itself: Melanie (Ken, Nicholas, Matthew Moakler), Sarah (John, Peter Cumby), Kathy (Sean and baby to be Barker), Amy (Steve Tulk); her darling brothers and sisters: Jim and Florence, Bill and Sheila, Mike and Jane, Geraldine Goobie, Gerry, Bernice and Mike Noseworthy, Dorothy and Andy English; in-laws: Paul Wadden, Eileen Murphy, Tom Power, Cora Duffett and Marge Murphy, her longtime and dedicated friend Marg McDonald: her "other" children: Billy King, Mickie Wilson, Wynann Stamp-Smith and Trish LeBlanc. She is gone to join her beloved parents Mike and Sarah Murphy; siblings: Bob Duffett, Frank, Kevin, Don Murphy, Lorraine Murphy, Floss Wadden and Louise Power, in-laws: Bill and Alice Hogan Sr. and Ira Goobie, other members of the Hogan and Murphy Families and many, many other relatives and friends that she loved and cared for. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or a charity of ones choice."She had a warm and wonderful heart and was loved and will be missed by so, so many. Rest now Ma, I'll tend the flowers."
