Passed peacefully away on January 14, 2015 at the Veterans' Pavilion age 95 years. Predeceased by his wife, Pauline King, in 2002. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories two sons, Robert (Mary) and David (Patricia); three grandchildren: Andrea King (Hugh Wilkinson), Stephen King (Merissa) and Jonathan King; two great-grandchildren: Vivienne and Rose Wilkinson; and special nieces: Christine and Sandra Lynch; special friends: Joanie and Pat; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. By request cremation has taken place. Remains resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, January 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday January 20 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish. Inurnment to follow at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Joe's memory to a charity of one's choice.
