The death occurred in Red Deer, AB, on December 26, 2014 of Allan (Punkie) McKinnon, formerly of Charlottetown, in his 59th year.
Beloved father of Timmy, Charlottetown; Stacey (Paul Smith), Alberta; Kevin, Charlottetown; Mark, Charlottetown; Johnny (Tori Zobel), Ontario; Samantha (John Younker), Charlottetown. Survived by the children's mother, Gail Myers. Dear brother of Leonard (June Anderson), Charlottetown; Brenda (Glen Rosebrough), Ontario; Judy (Gary Reynolds), Edmonton; Blair (Patsy), Charlottetown; Marlene (Kevin Chaisson), Charlottetown; Joanne (John Larade), Edmonton; Kim (R.E. Lawhorn), West Virginia. Remembered by 7 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy McKinnon; 4 siblings, Derryl, Donnie, Catherine and Jacinta.
Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2015, at St. Pius X Church. Reception to follow in the church's lower level.
