Darcy Frank Hardy
October 4, 1958 – January 17, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Darcy Hardy announces his sudden passing at the Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Centre at the age of 56 years. Darcy was the son of the late Ralph and Cedella Hardy. He was also predeceased by brother Scott Hardy, mother and father-in-law Hubert & Susanna Enwood, sister-in-law Bessie Samson, and brother-in-law John Shaw. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Goldie of 41 years together, children Shannon (Christle) Hardy Port aux Basques, Shelley (Devin) Reid Change Islands NL, Mark Bryne and Maurice Fitzgerald, precious grandchildren Mackenzie, Kimberley, and Dakota, brothers Kevin (Geraldine) Hardy Burnt Islands, Murray (Alfreda) Hardy Burnt Islands, Greg (Brenda) Hardy Carbonear, Ralph (Theresa) Hardy Burnt Islands, Wade (Priscilla) Hardy Halifax NS, sister Valerie (Raymond) Hardy Red Deer AB, brothers and sisters-in-law Audrey (Arthur) Best Rose Blanche, Harvey (Geraldine) Enwood Burnt Islands, Eva (Noble) Kettle Moncton NB, Albert (Selina) Enwood Rose Blanche, Phyllis Shaw Yukon, Hubert (Shelly) Enwood, Fort McMurray, AB, Marina (Tony) Enwood Tompkins, Bruce (Debbie) Enwood Halifax NS, Deanna Enwood Barrie ON, Charlie Samson Tumble Ridge BC, plus a large circle of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins plus many many close friends. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the family. Visitation took place on Sunday, January 18 from 7-9 pm and Monday, January 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, January 20 at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery.
