Jack BAILLIE
SCOTSBURN – John Leslie “Jack” Baillie, 77, of Scotsburn, passed away January 23, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in River John, he was a son of the late Walter Leslie and Jennie Mae (Langille) Baillie.
Jack is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” (Miller); children: Lynn (Kevin) Ballantyne, Woodburn; Mary (Larry) MacDonald, Scotsburn; Kevin (Karoleigh), Waterside; Paul (Ethel), Westville; Steven, Iqaluit; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Evan (Carol), Scotsburn; aunt, Helen Gunn, Brule.
The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Cheryl Smith, Dr. Gerry Farrell and everyone in the Emergency, Intensive Care and Palliative Care Units of the Aberdeen Hospital, and also to Dr. Darrell White and his team at the Hematology Clinic, 4th Floor Victoria Building, VG Site, Halifax.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday from Scotsburn United Church, with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
