PETERSON, GAIL ANN
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gail Ann (Brown) Peterson which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, January 23rd, 2015.
Born 1949, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Muriel (McCumber) Brown. Gail worked as a Sales Clerk at Agnew Surpass for over 15 years. She was an active member of Fairfield United Baptist Church who filled in as organist/pianist at both Fairfield United Baptist Church and Bains Corner United Church.
Gail is survived by her daughter Angie Tays (Rodney) of Sussex, NB; brothers Gerald (Nancy) and Randy (Nathalie) of Fairfield, NB; sisters Rowena Fougere (Willard) of Beaverbank, NS, Deborah Dunlop (John) of St. Martins, NB; sister-in-law Irene Brown of Fairfield, NB; grandchildren Ryan, Kelsy and Andrew; special friend Don Peterson; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Gail was predeceased by her brother Andrew.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, January 26th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place from the Fairfield United Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 28th at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Browns Cemetery in the spring time.
Donations in memory of Gail may be made to the Fairfield United Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
