January 24, 1954 - January 23, 2015
As quietly as in life, our beautiful sister Marian entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2015, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Sylvester and Mary Yetman and brother-in-law Norman Kielly. Leaving with cherished memories and grateful hearts for having been blessed by her spirit, are sisters: Sheila, Dorothy Kielly and Rosarie (Boyd) Lee; brothers: Adrian (Shirley), Sylvester (Lucilla) and Lawrence (Carmelita), and special aunt Dorothy Critch. Sharing in their parents' loss are nieces and nephews: Heather Hanlon (Craig), Carla (Greg Daley), Mark (Dawn Goodyear & Connor), Patricia Foley (Andre & Declan), Dorothy Jane (David Flusk, Olivia & Chloe), Philip (Nancy Dawe), Michael (Rié Sakoda & Eoghan), Janet Lee (Seth Pike), Robert Kielly (Candace Diamond), and Danielle (Zack Bartlett). Marian also leaves behind her uncle and aunts: Edward Yetman, Sara Sexton, Mary Krummerich, Sadie Brazil, Genevieve Meehan, and Anastasia Yetman; and a large circle of extended family and friends, especially those she made during her nursing career. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's, on Monday, January 26, from 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm and at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Tuesday, January 27, from 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm (no visitation on Wednesday). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 28, at 11am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Cremation to follow.
