Passed away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 17th day of January, 2015, Mr. Leslie Chambers of Bear Cove, in his 85th year. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 55 years Hilda Chambers; two sons and four daughters, Terrence (Lucy), Regina (Larry), Jane (Louis), Trudy (Lynden), Anne (Garfield), and Troy (Trudy); grandchildren Neil, Jody, Mark, Chad, Ryan, Jilda (Abbie), Gina (Jeremy), Zane, Hope, Daniel and Tristan; great-grandchildren Mila, Logan, Georgia and Joelle; brother Henry (Barbara); sisters Jessie, Mary Ann and Christina. He was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Jane Chambers. Visitation was held at the Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19 with Rev. Letto officiating. Burial followed the service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
