MOORE, Debbie Lorraine – 45, Family and friends are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Debbie passed away at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, ON, with family and friends by her side on Sunday, January 4, 2015, after a sudden illness. Debbie was born in Truro, on June 5, 1969. She was the daughter of Colin and Kay Atkinson (Stead). She worked as a caregiver in Peterborough, ON, and then in Toronto, and was widely loved and respected for her caring nature. Debbie is survived by her brother, Trent Atkinson, sister, Mandy Atkinson (Craig MacEachern), and her niece, Emilee Toole. We are left with grief and with longing but enriched with warm memories. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 31, from 1-2pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Truro Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
