ROSS, MONA
We are extremely sad to announce the passing of Mona Roberta (Connors) Ross on January 29, 2015 in Yarmouth, NS.

She was born and lived all of her life in Saint John, NB, having moved to live with her daughter in Nova Scotia for the past year. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Walter Ross, in 2008.

She is survived by her children Bonnie (John Taylor) Yarmouth, NS; Robbie (Lisa Laubman) Saint John, NB, and Susan Button, Yarmouth, NS. Her grandchildren are Michael Button, Jennifer Button, Sara Smith and Chris Ross, and she had six much loved great-grandchildren - Mackenzie and Kiara, Isaac and Serena, and Brayden and Colin. She is also survived by her sister, Marie (Morris) Ingersoll and many nieces and nephews.

Mom was a life-long member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, was very active in many church groups and loved her church family. She enjoyed the simple things in life like visits to the Irving Nature Park, going for drives to get an ice cream and sitting in the sun watching the dogs play. Reba and Shelby also miss getting doggy treats from their Nanny. We can’t say enough about the excellent care Mom received from the doctors and nurses at Yarmouth Regional Hospital.

A funeral is planned for February 7th at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Lancaster Avenue, Saint John with a reception to follow in the church hall. Donations in Mom’s memory may be made to Yarmouth Regional Hospital Foundation, Hillcrest Baptist Church or the Kidney Foundation. Family flowers only, please. She was a wonderful mother and we will miss her always.
